Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva met with Akılbek Japarov, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan

Ms. Sabina Aliyeva, the Human Rights Commissioner of Azerbaijan participated in the meeting of Akılbek Japarov, a Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan with ombudspersons, organized in the frame of the scientific-practical conference held on the occasion of the 20^th anniversary of the Ombudsman Institution in Kyrgyzstan.

In the meeting, S. Aliyeva emphasized the existing common cultural values, rich multilateral cooperation, and friendship between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan dating back to a long history.

The Commissioner noted the cooperation between NHRIs at regional and international levels contributes to the strengthening of activities in the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms and this cooperation will be further developed.
