Ombudsman Office participated in the VIII Baku International Book Fair

VIII Baku International Book Fair is being held in the Baku Expo Center with the cooperation of the Ministry of Culture. The aim of the fair is to promote reading culture among the population, create a platform of meetings between the writers and readers, and raise knowledge and skills through communication and exchange of practices.  

The Ombudsman Office of Azerbaijan sticking with last year's experience joined this fair, in which 60 international organizations from 16 countries and 130 local publishing-polygraph and books are represented, with exciting stand. The stand displays the Ombudsman Office’s publications in different languages, including reports on the activities of the Ombudsman during the war and post-war period, and educational booklets on the right to access information.

Furthermore, an educational PowerPoint presentation on the activities of the Ombudsman and videos about the right to access information and the 916 Call Center were displayed for the exhibition participants.

It should be noted that the participation of numerous local and foreign publishing houses, printing companies, and bookstores is planned for the 5-day Fair.
