Ombudsman's Northern Regional Center held an awareness-raising event

The Northern Regional Center of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, State Committee for Work with Religious Associations (SCWRA), and Guba District Executive Authority jointly organized an event in Guba city on the topic of "The importance of tolerant traditions of our people and policy of multiculturalism in strengthening national solidarity".

The staff members of the SCWRA Guba Regional Department, Guba District Executive Authority and the representatives of the district population attended the event. 

Speaking at the event, the Head of the Ombudsman's Northern Regional Center Mr. Bahruz Afandiyev gave information about the tolerant and multicultural values existing in Azerbaijan, as well as the role of tolerance in the fight against discrimination. Mr. Afandiyev emphasized that the tolerant traditions and policy of multiculturalism foster our national solidarity. He noted that Azerbaijan's model in this field is exemplary for the world.

In conclusion, the questions of the participants were answered.
