The Head of the Ombudsman's Southern Regional Center spoke at the events related to domestic violence and entrepreneurship activity

The Head of the Ombudsman’s Southern Regional Center Mr. Ziya Ismayilov took part in the event held by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population in Lankaran on the topic of “Social work with the victims of domestic violence”. Speaking at the event, he informed the participants about the Ombudsman’s activity in the field of preventing domestic violence, as well as the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the prevention of domestic violence”, main principles in this area, rules for handling the relevant complaints and other necessary provisions.

Another event attended by the Head of the Southern Regional Center was held with the organizational support of the Small and Medium Business (SMB) Development Agency in Masalli. The event organized by Masalli SMB Friend Office was entitled “Encouraging youth entrepreneurship”.

Mr. Ismayilov made a speech on the topic of “Raising awareness of young people on human rights and taking preventive measures to eliminate anti-social behavior among youth”. During the speech, he also gave broad information about the Ombudsman’s activity directions.

In conclusion, the questions of young entrepreneurs were answered, and prospects for future cooperation were discussed.
