The International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism was established according to the UN General Assembly resolution dated December 19, 2017, and is annually marked in the world on August 21. This day aims to honor the victims of terrorism and those affected by it, to support them, and to promote the protection and full enjoyment of their rights and fundamental freedoms.
