Ombudsman Institution produced a new educational brochure

In the framework of celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Ombudsman Institution of Azerbaijan and the EU-funded MOBILAZE 2 Project on "Support for the implementation of the Partnership on Displacement with Azerbaijan", the Azerbaijan Ombudsman has prepared a brochure “Protection of the Migrants’ Rights in Azerbaijan”.

This thematic tool provides information on the Ombudsman’s mandate, human rights in the context of migration, protection of aliens in Azerbaijan, protection of the rights of Azerbaijanis abroad, national preventive mechanism, right of migrants to access to information, and international cooperation in the field of migration, including collaboration with ombudsman institutions and other activity directions.

The Brochure was also disseminated among the participants of special training courses organized for staff of the State Migration Service, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and State Border  Service, run during the “MOBILAZE 2 Project”.
