The anniversary event for Professor Elmira Suleymanova was held in the Ombudsman Office

The Ombudsperson Ms. Sabina Aliyeva took the initiative to organize an 85th-anniversary event for Professor Elmira Suleymanova. Heads of various state institutions, representatives of civil society institutions, as well as the staff of the Ombudsman's Office took part in the event.

At the event, Ombudsman S. Aliyeva talked about E. Suleymanova, who had tremendous efforts for the formation and improvement of the Ombudsman institution of Azerbaijan, which has an important role in the field of protection of human rights and freedoms in our country and this year marks its 20th anniversary. She also pointed out that the jubilee is currently working as the deputy chairman of the Council of Elders, closely participating in the protection of our national and moral values and the development of our country, including contributing to the intergenerational dialogue.  

Congratulating the jubilee, the participants shared their memories with Prof. Suleymanova in scientific and public, and political lives.

?n the end, Ms. Suleymanova thanked the Ombudsman for the organization of such an event and conveyed her heartiest wishes and success to the Institution.
