The Ombudsman's representative took part in an awareness-raising event on the Concept of International Human Rights

The National Observatory for Labor Market and Social Protection Affairs under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population organized an awareness-raising event at the Sustainable and Operational Social Security Agency as part of the "Human Rights Month" campaign, announced by the Ombudsman.

The head of the Legal Education Unit at the Ombudsman Institution, Mr. Mugalib Mahmudov also participated in that event, which was attended by officials from the Office of the Ministry and its other subordinate agencies.

During his speech on the topic “Concept International of Human Rights,” Mr. Mahmudov first extended the congratulations on behalf of the Ombudsman on the forthcoming 18 June – Human Rights Day in Azerbaijan. He briefed about the purpose of the month-long campaign, the essence of the awareness-raising activities organized during this period, as well as on the multifaceted activity of the Ombudsman in the protection of labor and social rights of the socially vulnerable groups of the population.
