The winner of the "Rise" Competition met with the students involved in an internship with the Ombudsman Office

Ms. Laman Gafarzade, a winner of the “Rise” Competition, had a meeting with the students and youngsters in the Ombudsman Office in the frame of the mentorship program and under the mentorship of Ms. Sabina Aliyeva, the Human Rights Commissioner of Azerbaijan.

The meeting brought together students-interns from the Law Faculty of Baku State University, International Relations and Regional Studies Faculty of Azerbaijan University of Languages, and Political and Regional Studies of the Western Kaspi University.

During the interactive meeting, the interns, first, were shown a video clip about the “Rise” Competition, later L. Gafarzade outlined her project on the rights of people with disabilities under the mentorship of the Ombudsman, as well as her education and career.  

Apart from this, questions raised during the meeting were answered and students were given recommendations on how to improve their knowledge and skills.
