Guba Regional Center of the Ombudsman held an awareness-raising event

Guba Regional Center of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Guba Department of the State Committee on Religious Associations, and Gusar District Executive Authority jointly organized a seminar on the topic of “The importance of our people’s tolerant traditions and the policy of multiculturalism in strengthening national solidarity” in Gusar District Central Library. The seminar was attended by the staff members of the above-noted organizations and the representatives of the public in the district.

In his speech, the head of the Ombudsman’s Guba Regional Center, Mr. Behruz Efendiyev provided information about the tolerance and multiculturalism in Azerbaijan, the importance of those values for strengthening our national solidarity, and the effective role of tolerance in the fight against discrimination.

In the end, the participants’ questions were answered.
