The fact about the rape of a teenage girl in Ganja city is under the focus of Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva

A girl with limited health capacity, born in 2005, was raped in Ganja city as a result of which she became pregnant. The family members of the victim called the Call Center 916  of the Ombudsman. Considering this fact, the Ombudsman immediately took the matter under her focus and expediently sent an inquiry to the Ganja City Prosecutorial Office.

Furthermore, the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB) was also appealed for the examination of a minor and controlling her health condition. 

The staff members of the Ombudsman Office contacted the minor and her family members and inquired about her health, psychological condition, and protection of her rights.

The matter will be further kept under the focus of the Ombudsman Ms. Sabina Aliyeva, and necessary measures will be taken accordingly.
