Jalilabad Regional Center of the Ombudsman discussed the issue of “Educating adolescents and young people against early marriage” in the secondary school of the village Ferzili of the district. The event was attended by the management of the school, teaching staff, and students.  

The head of the Regional Center, Mr. Ziya Ismayilov highlighted the issues related to the protection of the rights of children as one of the population groups. The problem of early marriage, related preventive measures, and the rights violated in this context were broadly discussed. During the event, moral, social, and legal problems caused by early marriages in society were discussed and the need for more intensive awareness-raising in this area was stressed.
