Ms. Sabina Aliyeva, the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues informing the world community about the war crimes, as well as violations of international law, including international humanitarian law (IHL) committed by Armenia during the First and Second Karabakh Wars.
Ombudsman prepared the next Report based on the evidence and proofs amassed during the on-spot investigations.
The Report covers the visual evidence of mass and intentional destruction of graves belonging to Azerbaijanis committed by Armenia during the occupation period, as well as desecration of the graves and humiliation of the remains of the dead bodies, pillage of the tombs, and mining of the area to cause loss of people, who will visit the cemeteries and other facts.
An appeal was made to international organizations in the Report to take serious measures to hold Armenia criminally liable for the grave breaches of international law, including the IHL norms, and war crimes.
The Report was sent to international organizations, ombudspersons of other countries, as well as other international organizations working in the protection and promotion of human rights.
