Jalilabad Regional Center of the Ombudsman held an awareness-raising event

Jalilabad Regional Center of the Ombudsman together with the Jalilabad District Education Department held an awareness-raising event on the topic “My Rights”.

The event, held in the Jalilabad city school-lyceum No. 8 on humanities and technical sciences, was attended by the teaching staff and students.

The Head of the Ombudsman's Jalilabad Regional Center, Mr. Ziya Ismayilov, during his speech, said that the Ombudsman carries out a large-scale activity to ensure the rights of the children as one of the population groups.   

The participants were also broadly informed about the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, related international treaties that our State is bound by, the Law of Azerbaijan on Child Rights, as well as National Strategy on Children for 2020-2030, including the anticipated results of the implementation of the Strategy.
