Ganja Regional Center of the Ombudsman held an online event on "Human Rights and Gender Equality"

The Ombudsman's Ganja Regional Center and Gazakh Region Youth and Sports Department jointly held an online legal-awareness event on the topic of "Human Rights and Gender Equality".  

The event has brought together students of Gazakh State Social and Economic College and the representatives of the Gazakh District Youth and Sports Department.

During the event, the Head of the Regional Center Mr. Sabuhi Abbasov talked about the activities of the Ombudsman Institution in human rights and fighting gender-based violence, as well as the existing relevant national legal acts, and institutional reforms implemented in the country.

It was said that improving and adopting the national legislative framework on women's rights and gender equality at the national level had significantly contributed to the measures in the concerned field.
