Events on the topic “Ensuring Citizens’ Electoral Rights” were held by the Ombudsman Northwest Regional Center

The Ombudsman’s Northwest Regional Center organized legal-awarenees events on the topic “Ensuring Citizen’s Electoral Rights” related to the forthcoming early presidential elections to be held in our country, in Amirjan village of Gakh, Ibrahimkend village of Sheki, and Zarrab village of Oghuz districts. 

During speeches, it was noted that the Ombudsman Institution has always paid attention to the state of implementation of the electoral rights of a country’s citizens, continuous measures have been taken to effectively ensure and protect these rights, and a range of legal-awareness events in this regard were organized.  

At the events, the participants were informed about the requirements of the Election Code of Azerbaijan and voting rules, and the questions raised were answered.
