Ombudsman held a meeting with Grand Mufti of the Muslim Community in Bulgaria

Within her official visit to Bulgaria, the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ms. Sabina Aliyeva held a meeting with Mr. Mustafa Haji, the Grand Mufti of the Muslim Community in Bulgaria.

During the visit, the Ombudsman briefed the facts of mass destructions of and insults against monuments of Islamic in the liberated areas of Azerbaijan, including religious monuments damaged in the period of the Patriotic War. The Ombudsman presented the Grand Mufti with Koran in the Azerbaijani language.
