Ombudsman awarded a number of employees of the Mine Action Agency with certificates of honor

The employees of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) carrying out demining operations in Aghdam district informed the delegation, that is on a fact-finding mission in the district, about the mines buried during the occupation of our ancient lands then liberated, their threat to human life and health, as well as the demining process, its results, and general statistics. The Commissioner for Human Rights Ms. Sabina Aliyeva, the staff of the Ombudsman institution, and members of the delegation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Ombudsmen Association, who are on a visit to our country to carry out the fact-finding mission, highly praised the work of ANAMA staff and wished them success in their work.
