Regional Centers of the Ombudsman launched videoconferences on the National Salvation Day

Ganja, Jalilabad, Sheki, and Guba Regional Centers of the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan launched videoconferences on 15 June 2021, National Salvation Day. The events were attended by the representatives of various stakeholders.  

In this regard, Ganja Regional Center of the Ombudsman together with Gazakh district branch of the Youth Development and Career Center held an online event on "Azerbaijan from yesterday to today." Ganja Regional Center of the Ombudsman together with Yevlakh and Ujar districts Heydar Aliyev Centers organized a video conference dedicated to this significant day.

Jalilabad Regional Center of the Ombudsman held a video conference with the Heydar Aliyev Centers located in Lankaran, Lerik, Yardimli, Astara districts together with the New Azerbaijan Party Astara district organization, as well as Astara district Pedagogical College, State Art Gallery, secondary school No. 5, and Youth and Sports Department.

Sheki Regional Center of the Ombudsman together with the Youth and Sports Department of Oguz district also organized a video conference on this topic.

Guba Regional Center of the Ombudsman held a video conference dedicated to the National Salvation Day with the participation of employees and readers of the Centralized Library System.

During these online events it was stated that as a professional politician, Heydar Aliyev saved the country from the civil war, neutralized threats to its territorial integrity, sovereignty, and statehood. Furthermore, there had been undertaken important steps to fully restore the rule of law at the national level. The participants, including the heads of Regional Centers of the Ombudsman, spoke about the efforts of the national leader for establishing and ensuring human rights in Azerbaijan.
