Awareness-raising events on "Ensuring the right to access to information in the context of human rights" were held in Guba and Jalilabad

Legal awareness-raising events on the protection of the right to information were organized by the Azerbaijani Ombudsman Institution within the frames of the Human Rights Month-long Campaign. The events were held in the Heydar Aliyev Centers of Guba and Jalilabad districts.

Representatives of Guba and Jalilabad District Executive Powers, Police Department, Executive and Probation Department, Education Department and other information holder bodies also attended the events.

B.Afendiyev and Z.Ismayilov, the heads of Guba and Jalilabad Regional Centers, respectively, the head of the Department for Protection of the Right to Information of the Ombudsman Office L.Zeynalova and other staff members of the Office spoke during these events.

The comprehensive information was provided on ensuring, propaganda and promotion of the right to information by the Ombudsman, consideration and response to appeals received in connection with the violation of this right, as well as monitoring and analysis in this field, activities in other areas related to the right to information, and questions of the event participants were answered.
