The European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI) and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) co-organized a training “Artificial intelligence and human rights” held in Tirana, Albania. In the training, where NHRIs of Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, France, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Turkiye, and other countries came together, the Azerbaijan Ombudsman Institution was represented by Ms. Fargana Mammadkhanova, Chief Adviser at the Department on International Organizations and Civil Society Institutions.
The five-day training, run by international experts, covered the topic in question, as well as the impact of digital management on human rights in the globalized world, and the role of the related human rights protection mechanisms was discussed.
In the discussion part, while speaking about Ombudsman’s activity directions, Ms. Mammadkhanova said that “E-government”, created at a national level was based on modern challenges and international experience, the legal framework was established, and that the “ASAN” Service was considered as a good experience.
The Ombudsman’s representative also gave a presentation on the action plan about the impact of human rights on digital management and the role of NHRIs.
At the end of the training, participants were awarded certificates.
