Ombudsman met with children of martyrs on the International Day for Protection of Children

On the occasion of 1 June – the International Day for Protection of Children, the Ombudsman Institute of Azerbaijan in cooperation with "Zafar" Public Union for support of martyrs' families held a holiday event for the children of martyrs of the Second Karabakh War in Zira Cultural Center Eco-Park.  

The Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva met with the martyrs’ children and congratulated them on this international holiday for children. The Commissioner held a cordial meeting with the minor participants of the event, learned their problems and wishes, and answered their questions.

During this event, a master class on ceramic handicrafts for children, who demonstrated their talents, as well as group games were organized. Furthermore, an event was continued with lunch, a cultural program, and karaoke. As well, sightseeing for children in Eco-Park was arranged to ensure better spending of their leisure time.

At the end, of the holiday event, the Ombudsman presented gifts to children, and collective photos were taken.
