The Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a member of European Network of Ombudspersons for Children (ENOC).

Azerbaijani Ombudsman actively participates in project of European Network of Young Advisors (ENYA) this year as well. Members of Azerbaijani Child and Youth Peace Network-resource center of Ombudsman are involved in ENYA Project “The Road to RIO-RESPECT, INFORMATION, OPINION: Exploring and empowering youth identity and relationships”.

Within the framework of the Project groups consisting of 14-17 years old children were formed, during March-June numerous meetings were held with them, group works were organized, proposals were drafted, writings of children were published in mass-media.

Two of project participants will present the work done and the proposals of children on the topic in the meeting to be held Paris in June.

It should be noted more than 30 members of Azerbaijani Child and Youth Peace Network who are involved in ENYA Project were awarded certificates of ENOC.
